Short answer: yes. Digital SAT already runs entirely through College Board's Bluebook app, a well-designed online prep works at least as well as in-person tutoring, and arguably closer to the real test environment (screen, digital tools). What matters isn't the location, but whether the program is personalized and measurable.
What good online SAT prep looks like
- Starts with a level assessment. You can't spend your time well without knowing where you're starting from.
- Small groups or one-on-one. Not a crowded classroom, a pace built around your level.
- Format-specific practice for Digital SAT. The adaptive module structure and the Bluebook interface require different habits than paper-SAT prep.
- Regular mock exams plus error analysis. Solving questions alone isn't enough, understanding why you got something wrong is what actually moves the needle.
- Numeric progress tracking and parent reporting. You can't fix what you don't measure.
A common mistake
"If I just solve more questions, my score will go up." Solving hundreds of questions without analyzing your mistakes puts you on a plateau. A student who solves 100 questions without reviewing their errors will progress more slowly than one who deeply analyzes just 30. It's not the number of repetitions that counts, it's the lesson you take from each mistake.
The advantage of going online
Online format removes geography as a constraint, you can work with the right tutor from anywhere in Türkiye, or from abroad. Recorded lessons can also be rewatched, an advantage in-person tutoring simply doesn't offer.
